The Treatment Process

56°C Core Temperature

Pallets are loaded into kilns. The core of the thickest timber is raised to a minimum of 56 degrees Celsius.

30 Minute Sustained Hold

Once core temperature is reached, the heat is sustained uninterrupted for a minimum of 30 minutes.

IPPC Marking

Post-treatment, the timber is permanently branded with the IPPC 'Wheat' symbol and our specific producer code.
